The Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor has just successfully implemented the establishment of 2 grassroots trade unions, within the framework of the peak emulation period to welcome the Hung Yen Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Party Congress, and the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Hung Yen province (2025-2030).
Accordingly, SUMTOP Vietnam Shoes Company Limited (Tay Thai Ninh Commune) held a congress to establish a grassroots trade union, elected 5 comrades to the Executive Committee, term I, 2025-2030, and admitted 245 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union.
Meanwhile, Geleximco Hung Phu Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (Hung Phu Industrial Park) also held a congress to establish a grassroots trade union, electing 3 comrades to the Executive Committee, term I, 2025-2030, and admitting 23 workers.
The newly established grassroots trade unions are under the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, have legal status, use their own seals, open bank accounts and exercise their rights and tasks according to the provisions of law and the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union.
The establishment of grassroots trade unions and the development of union members is considered a key task of the Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor, aiming to improve the effectiveness of operations according to the new model, operate smoothly, contribute to promoting the trade union movement and protecting the rights of workers.
