According to Hung Yen Provincial Police, the Immigration Department has recently stepped up management and guidance for businesses to use foreign workers, in order to ensure the legitimate rights of workers and improve management efficiency. This activity focuses on reviewing foreigners residing and working in the area, while propagating and disseminating regulations on the rights and obligations of workers.
In reality, many businesses have proactively coordinated with management agencies in registering, granting labor licenses, visas, and temporary residence cards to foreign workers, creating favorable conditions for them to work with peace of mind. However, there are still some cases where employees have expired their contracts but the enterprise has not completed the procedures to return the labor license or has not promptly notified the authorities.
Some workers after returning home can use valid visas and temporary residence cards to return to Vietnam to work in violation of regulations. Since the beginning of the year, the Immigration Department has detected and handled 8 violations related to foreign labor management.
To improve efficiency, businesses need to increase responsibility in managing and using foreign labor. First of all, it is necessary to grasp the rights and obligations of workers, fully disseminate so that they clearly understand the regulations, avoid violations. At the same time, businesses must regularly update information and closely coordinate with management agencies when there are changes in personnel, such as contract termination, termination of employment or changes in working conditions.
This not only helps foreign workers feel secure in their work and enjoy legal rights, but also ensures that businesses operate transparently and comply with the law. At the same time, the smooth coordination between management agencies and enterprises will reduce legal risks, contributing to creating a stable, professional and sustainable working environment in Hung Yen.
