The Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just organized a seminar program to celebrate International Women's Day and a thematic talk "Preventing online fraud against women in the digital transformation era".
The program was also attended by Vice Presidents of the Provincial Labor Federation Lo Thi Hang, Pham Ngoc Dang; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; and 80 typical female union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ), representing more than 2,400 female union members throughout the province.

At the program, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the world women's movement, the historical significance of International Women's Day March 8 and the heroic and indomitable spirit of the Trung Sisters, a symbol of the indomitable will of Vietnamese women through the periods.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Lo Thi Hang - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that in the context of strong digital transformation, women not only need to be proficient in their profession but also must proactively equip themselves with digital knowledge and skills to identify and prevent scams in cyberspace.
Through the thematic exchange session of the Provincial Police reporter, female union members and workers and employees were provided with practical information about the current situation of online fraud.

Identifying common methods and tricks such as impersonating state agencies, seizing social media accounts, fraudulent financial investment, virtual currency, recruiting light and high-paying jobs...
At the same time, they are guided on personal information security skills, identifying fake links, and handling situations when suspected of being scammed.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation presented meaningful gifts to female union members to express gratitude for the contributions of female workers and employees in the development of agencies, units and the province.
