In 2026, Lai Chau province has 839 new recruits enlisting, including 600 people performing military service and 239 people recruited for the People's Police service.
Speaking at the number 1 troop receiving point (Zone 1 - Phong Tho Defense Command), Mr. Ha Quang Trung - Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee praised all levels, sectors, and localities for their efforts to successfully complete the troop recruitment task.
According to Mr. Trung, in any condition or circumstance, new recruits also need to maintain political bravery, strictly comply with the laws of the State, military discipline, and police discipline.
The Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee also sent his thanks to families and parents who have given birth, raised, and educated their children to become outstanding citizens, ready to contribute to the Fatherland.
Mr. Ha Quang Trung requested that Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations continue to well implement the policy of military rear, police rear. Pay attention to caring for the material and spiritual life of families with children enlisting, promptly encourage and support families that are still in difficulty, so that new recruits can feel secure in their work and complete their tasks well.
At the military handover ceremony, leaders of Military Region 2, Lai Chau province and communes and wards presented flowers and gifts to congratulate and encourage new recruits to enlist.
