On January 8, in Muong Lan village, Muong Lan commune, Son La Power Company organized the handover of the "Trade Union Shelter" house to union member Vi Van Thu, a worker of the Song Ma - Sop Cop area Power Management Team.
Previously, in early August 2025, the historic flood in the area completely swept away the house, causing Mr. Vi Van Thu's family to fall into a particularly difficult situation.
Understanding and sharing, trade union levels and the collective of officials and employees of Son La Power Company joined hands to support the construction of a new house, helping the family soon stabilize their lives.
The house is built solidly, with an area of 90 m2, brick wall structure, brick floor, corrugated iron roof, ensuring safety and suitable for living conditions in the highlands.
Total cost of 304.807 million VND. In which, Company employees contributed and supported: 107.6 million VND; Vietnam Electricity Group Trade Union 60 million, Northern Power Corporation Trade Union 30 million, Son La Power Company 20 million VND, along with family, relatives and other support.
Touched to receive the handover of the new house, Mr. Vi Van Thu expressed: "In the most difficult times, my family received timely attention and help from the company and trade union levels.
This is a great source of encouragement for me to feel secure in my work and rise up in life.
The "Trade Union Home" program not only has the meaning of material support, but also shows the beautiful cultural and affectionate nature of Son La Power Company and the electricity industry - where workers are always cared for, accompanied and protected.
