After 1 year of working at the company, in 2021, Mr. Tran Sy Tung was elected as Vice Chairman of the Company's Grassroots Trade Union, from March 2023 to now he is the Chairman of the company's Grassroots Trade Union.
Appareltech Ha Tinh Company is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise (Korea), currently has 1,350 employees, of which the number of trade union members is 1,300 people. In his role as Chairman of the grassroots trade union, Mr. Tung always proactively grasps the thoughts and aspirations of employees to promptly exchange and propose to the company's board of directors, especially at dialogues and employee conferences.
Some successes through dialogue have brought practical benefits to union members, including: In 2023, after dialogue, meal allowances increased from 17,000 VND to 20,000 VND; according to regulations, applying regional minimum wage increases from July 2024, however, the trade union proposed and was increased by the company from March 2024, an increase 4 months ahead of schedule.
In 2025, the basic salary will continue to increase by 300,000 VND and seniority allowance will increase from 100,000 VND/person/month to 800,000 VND/person/month. At the end of 2025, when the regional minimum wage increased, the Trade Union proposed and was approved by the company to increase by 200,000-250,000 VND for direct workers, calculating social insurance contributions, bringing practical benefits.
Every time I organize dialogues and collective negotiations and the company's leaders agree to increase regimes and benefits for union members and workers, as Chairman of the Trade Union, I am very happy and excited. Seeing that as motivation for me to continue to be close to union members, always for the benefit of union members and promptly propose to the company's board of directors to resolve. Through this, building harmonious labor relations in the company, helping the company to develop more and more" - Mr. Tran Sy Tung shared.
