Officially opened on the afternoon of August 15, but from the morning, the 2025 Creative Labor Festival at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has attracted visitors to visit.
The 2025 Creative Labor Festival at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has 45 booths, including 15 special booths. There are 3 outstanding events, including: Exhibition "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise Up", Forum "Promoting the Creative Potential of Workers" and the "Enterprise for Workers 2025" Award Ceremony.
At the Creative Labor Festival, Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation (EEMC) brought a 500kV transformer (a 1/10 scale model) with the largest capacity on the transmission grid with the design by a domestic enterprise.
EEMC representative said that, based on the development of the Vietnamese 500kV power transmission grid in recent years, transformers with 3x150MVA and 3x200MVA capacity are gradually being replaced by transformers with 3x300MVA capacity.
EEMC believes that it is necessary to soon deploy research and manufacture a 500kV transformer with a capacity of 3x300MVA grams to meet market demand. With the goal of mastering the design and technology to manufacture this large-capacity transformer grille, EEMC has proposed and has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology to implement the National-level Experimental Production Project "Completing the design and technology to manufacture the 500kV-3x300MVA pressure transformer system".
After implementing many items of preparation for manufacturing, from building a 500kV workshop, upgrading the factory, investing in technological equipment; from September 2024, the transformer production process has been carried out urgently but cautiously under the close supervision of design and technology engineers to ensure the highest quality for this important product.
Up to now, after completing the manufacture, the 500kV-3x300MVA transformer has been tested and has met all factory testing items according to IEC standards.
This is the result of the creative working spirit and outstanding efforts of the group of engineers and workers of the corporation when for the first time a domestic enterprise took charge of the design and manufacture of the 500kV transformer with the largest capacity on the Vietnamese power grid, EEMC representative shared.
The successful design and manufacture of the 500kV - 3x300MVA transformer has helped EEMC train a team of design engineers, technology engineers, managers and skilled technical workers to master the 500kV transformer manufacturing technology equipment line.
This success is also a premise for EEMC to continue to strive to research and develop new products such as: power source transformation, voltage transformation, 500kV resistance, clean gas isolation GIS station, isolation knives... contributing to localizing main power equipment on the Vietnamese power grid.
Also within the framework of the 2025 Creative Labor Festival at the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the "Outstanding Enterprise for Workers" Award - Award chaired by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), was assigned to Lao Dong Newspaper for direct implementation.
