Pressure from increased questions at the grassroots level
After Decree 105 entered life, the need to learn about procedures for establishing grassroots trade unions as well as deducting and remitting trade union fees from workers and businesses has increased significantly.
The challenge posed to the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union is that each day, full-time officials have to receive and process about 10 calls to answer repeated questions about procedures, deduction and payment of funds... This creates no small pressure, taking up a lot of administrative time of the unit.
The goal is to apply technology so that machines automatically answer basic questions, while digitizing accumulated data sources.
Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Chairman of Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City shared: "The application of Zalo Mini App "Digital Trade Union - Digital Union Members" helps automate the question-and-answer process, reducing administrative work so that officials spend more time closely following the lives of workers and laborers.
Digitizing activities and promoting socialization of care
The "Digital Trade Union - Digital Union Member" model operates on the Zalo Mini App platform, designed with diverse features to serve each target group. For union members, the application allows online registration, news, events, images of activities and direct Q&A with digital assistants. For grassroots trade union officials, the application is a sample document lookup store, reward data monitoring and organizational data management.
Compared to city-level applications that focus on management and direction of the Standing Committee, the ward-level Mini App focuses on direct interaction, answering questions and providing professional support for grassroots officials.
The entire 100% cost of building the application (worth about 290 million VND) is implemented according to the socialization method sponsored by the technology unit, and the local budget only uses administrative expenses to operate later.
The work of caring for the lives and health of workers through socialized resources also achieved positive results. In 2026, the Ward Trade Union mobilized more than 1 billion VND to organize programs for examination, screening for lung diseases, eye examination, glasses distribution and free eye surgery support for more than 400 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Ms. Le Thi My Ngoc - Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union of My Phuong Food Company shared: "When joining the trade union and using the "Digital Trade Union" app, all information, Tet holiday benefits or support for difficult circumstances are received very quickly and transparently. Union members also have a channel to directly reflect opinions to superiors, which is extremely convenient.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Thu - Chairwoman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Zimaw Technology Company said that the application has helped grassroots officials save significant travel time by easily loading standard forms such as Collective Labor Agreements to customize according to the business model.
