After being admitted to the Trade Union, Mr. Lam Hoang Tinh, Lac Ty II Co., Ltd., is more excited in his work. He said that becoming a union member helps workers feel secure in their work because their legitimate and lawful rights and interests are protected.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Gion - Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of Lac Ty II Co., Ltd. - informed that the admission of trade union members is one of a series of activities to respond to Workers' Month 2026 at the grassroots trade union. In May, the grassroots trade union is expected to admit about 1,000 union members with the most recent phase being 509 people (increasing the total number of union members to 11,858 people, reaching a rate of about 96.56%; the admission ceremony was held on May 8th).
Can Tho City Labor Federation currently manages about 650 grassroots trade unions and nearly 200 grassroots trade unions with over 14,000 affiliated union members. According to the target for 2026, Can Tho City Labor Federation will develop 16,000 trade union members.
Chairwoman of Can Tho City Labor Federation Le Thi Suong Mai highly appreciated the grassroots trade union of Lac Ty II Co., Ltd. for performing the task of developing union members, as well as other activities to care for workers on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026.
With the admission of more than 500 trade union members of the above company, the Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation said that this not only shows the effectiveness in numbers but also proves the workers' belief in the "common home" of the Trade Union.
The Trade Union will accompany workers in all circumstances, even in the most difficult times. Union members facing concerns in work and life have proposals and recommendations to the grassroots trade union to represent, together with the company's leadership to consider and will resolve inadequacies related to their legitimate rights.
Each union member when admitted is put on a "coat" of pride for the Vietnam Trade Union. Therefore, the collective of workers of the Grassroots Trade Union of Lac Ty II Co., Ltd., as well as grassroots trade unions directly under the City Labor Federation, must constantly improve professional capacity, movement and well comply with labor discipline.
For grassroots trade unions, we have also proposed to continue to innovate operations and take union members as the center, in addition to care, we must build a safe, harmonious and progressive, civilized working environment. All towards the common goal of showing the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and aspiration to rise up of the Can Tho Trade Union" - Ms. Mai shared.
