Pursuant to Clause 6, Article 6 of Decree 188/2025/ND-CP, the level of health insurance support from the state budget is stipulated as follows:
(i) Support 100% of health insurance premiums for people from near-poor households residing in poor communes according to the Prime Minister's Decision and other documents of competent authorities.
(ii) Support at least 70% of the health insurance contribution level for people in near-poor households.
(iii) Support at least 70% of the health insurance contribution rate for ethnic minorities living in communes determined to no longer be in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions, especially difficult areas, and will be supported by the state budget to pay health insurance according to Government regulations. The support period is 36 (thirties and six) months from the time the commune where the subject is living is no longer in an area with difficult and extremely difficult socio-economic conditions.
(iv) Support at least 50% of the health insurance premium for victims according to the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking 2024. The support period is 1 year from the date the subject is confirmed by the competent authority as a victim according to the provisions of the Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking 2024;
(v) Support at least 50% of the health insurance premium for the following subjects:
- Students.
- People participating in the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.
- Village and hamlet health workers; village and hamlet midwives.
- Part-time workers in villages and residential groups as prescribed by law.
- People awarded the title of People's Artist, Meritorious Artist according to the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage 2024.

Thus, currently, part-time workers in villages are supported by the state budget with at least 50% of the health insurance premium.
