This is the first time Vietnam and China have organized a joint military training program, with the theme "coaching the joint army to carry out tasks in the Vietnam - China border area", to enhance mutual learning and exchange experiences in border work, while further deepening practical cooperation between the two armies.

The relationship between the two armies has achieved a stable and high level of development. Since the beginning of 2025, the navel and coast guard forces of Vietnam and China have strengthened substantive cooperation in the field of cooperation at sea.
