Currently, the People's Police Trade Union (CAND) directly manages and directs 87 grassroots trade unions, 7 provincial and city police trade unions, corporations and 24,970 union members. Of which, female workers are 7,093, accounting for 35.5%. The structure of the union member team is shifting towards concentrating in enterprises and CAND non-business units.
In 2025, the jobs and lives of union members and workers (NLD) are stable, many businesses have high salaries and incomes. The average salary of union members who are labor contracts in CAND enterprises reaches from 12 - 30 million VND/month. Many businesses have additional welfare regimes, and the income and lives of union members are guaranteed. The number of union members and workers in difficult circumstances are regularly concerned and supported to improve living conditions and reduce difficulties.
The spiritual life of union members and workers in the People's Public Security Forces has gradually improved. Many cultural, artistic, physical education, and sports activities are organized with innovative, rich, and diverse contents, attracting a large number of union members and workers to participate; the political awareness, patriotism, and trust in the Party and the State in the industry and trade union organization of union members and workers continue to be consolidated.
The activities of trade union levels continue to record important imprints, spread, attract union members, and make important contributions to the implementation of political tasks of each agency, unit, and enterprise in the People's Public Security Forces.
The People's Police Trade Union has directed and guided the police trade union of units, localities, and corporations to implement grassroots democracy regulations, proactively implement dialogue activities with Party committees and leaders at the same level, coordinate to organize employee conferences, and sign supplementary collective labor agreements (business groups maintain the implementation of overtime meals for employees at a rate of 22,000 VND/meal or more).
Participate in proposing to supplement and amend legal documents with leaders at all levels according to their authority on policies related to union members and workers in a more beneficial direction such as leave regimes, welfare spending regimes, conditions on occupational safety and health, fire and explosion prevention... In 2025, there will be no labor disputes, collective complaints about labor, employment, wages and other policies.
