The Government issued Decree 293/2025/ND-CP stipulating the minimum wage for employees working under labor contracts.
Accordingly, the regional minimum wage increased by 7.2% from 2026, corresponding to an increase of 250,000 - 350,000 VND compared to Decree 74/2024/ND-CP.
The Appendix issued together with Decree 293/2025/ND-CP stipulates the list of areas applying the minimum wage from 2026. In which, there is content on the list of areas applying the minimum wage of Tay Ninh province.
Subjects eligible for salary increase from January 1, 2026 include:
- Employees working under labor contracts in accordance with the 2019 Labor Code.
- Employers as prescribed by the 2019 Labor Code, including: Enterprises as prescribed by the 2020 Enterprise Law;
Agencies, organizations, cooperatives, households, and individuals who hire and use employees to work for them according to agreements.
- Other agencies, organizations, and individuals related to the implementation of the minimum wage specified in Decree 293/2025/ND-CP.
