Mr. Nguyen Long - Chairman of the Trade Union of R Vietnam Technical Research Company Limited - assessed that the law dissemination classes of the Provincial Labor Federation have helped people better understand the policies and related obligations. This is a truly useful activity for workers to realize that workers really need to understand the law, things directly related to their rights.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan - Permanent Vice President of the Hoa Binh Provincial Labor Federation - said that by the end of October 2024, the Provincial Labor Federation had coordinated with units to organize and coordinate the organization of 17 classes to disseminate and popularize the law for 1,580 participants, of which 9 classes were funded by the Trade Union and 8 classes were funded by the Provincial Social Insurance.
According to Mr. Thuan, the main participants of the classes are workers and employees at enterprises in the province. The content of the dissemination revolves around issues related to the Labor Code, policies on social insurance and health insurance. The classes disseminate, educate and educate on the law and also answer questions about salary regimes, signing labor contracts, etc.
The Standing Vice President of the Hoa Binh Provincial Federation of Labor informed that the dissemination, popularization and education of the law aims to improve the legal understanding of workers, thereby helping everyone better understand the policies and related obligations. From there, it creates a strong change in the awareness of law compliance of union members and workers, contributing to building harmonious and stable labor relations, improving the ability to protect the rights of workers and continuing to affirm the role and position of the Trade Union organization in the new period.
According to Mr. Thuan, in order to effectively propagate, disseminate and educate the law to workers and laborers, the Provincial Federation of Labor and trade unions at all levels have innovated the content and form of propaganda by integrating it into training conferences, activities, agency meetings and at grassroots trade union establishment meetings. In particular, the unit implementing legal education and dissemination needs to study the characteristics of each target group, thereby developing appropriate propaganda methods; further expanding the model of popularizing education and law in enterprises throughout the province, so that the law is truly a tool for state management and social management.
“Regarding the task of educating and disseminating the law to workers and laborers, in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on building a team of cadres who do propaganda work, are knowledgeable about legal policies and have good professional skills. At the same time, we will continue to innovate content and methods, focusing on the grassroots to gradually raise awareness of the law for union members and laborers,” informed the Standing Vice President of the Hoa Binh Provincial Federation of Labor.
