From October 22 to 25, 2024, at the High-Tech Park and industrial parks in Da Nang, doctors and nurses from Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security) have been examining the health of more than 100 workers and employees of Universal Alloy Corporation Vietnam Co., Ltd. (UACV).
About 1,044 workers received general clinical examinations (measurement of blood pressure, height, weight; internal, external, dermatological, eye, dental - jaw - face; ear - nose - throat examinations...); Gynecological examinations; Tests (blood count, liver and kidney function tests, hepatitis B, blood lipids...); Abdominal ultrasound; ECG, chest X-ray... combined with vaccinations for 80 people. Through the examination, doctors gave recommendations and instructions on diet and lifestyle suitable for each person's health.
A representative of UACV Company said that, with the view that human resources are the valuable assets of the enterprise, we always pay attention to the health, material and spiritual life of employees. Organizing periodic health check-ups and annual occupational disease check-ups is very important to check and detect early diseases if any, promptly have treatment plans, and ensure the health and safety of employees.
In reality, many workers and laborers are still subjective about their health, only going for health check-ups when symptoms appear. Therefore, regular health check-ups as well as occupational health check-ups (depending on the working environment and business management mechanism) will help workers know their health status so that they and their families can feel secure.
