Caring for workers' health from meals
In Workers' Month 2026, trade unions at all levels deploy many activities to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, helping workers feel secure in working and attached to businesses.
At Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company (Long Chau ward), the grassroots Trade Union coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize the "Trade Union Meal" program for more than 1,500 workers. Each meal is worth nearly 100,000 VND, ensuring nutrition and food safety and hygiene. Worker Le Thi Thanh An shared that the meal has more attractive dishes than usual, so everyone is excited. According to her, the concern of the trade union and the business has added motivation for workers to feel secure in their work.
Mr. Truong Cong Nhan - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Vinh Tien Garment Joint Stock Company - informed that this year's program is organized for more than 1,500 workers. This is an activity to show the gratitude and companionship of the Trade Union organization to union members and workers.
The grassroots trade union of Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Binh Minh Industrial Park) organizes periodic health check-ups for more than 4,800 workers, helping to detect early health problems, promptly monitor and treat, creating peace of mind in the working process.
Worker Nguyen Thi Thuy Tien assessed that having health check-ups right at work helps workers conveniently monitor their health.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Be Hai - Chairman of the company's grassroots trade union, the periodic health check-up program shows the concern of businesses and trade unions for employees. The Trade Union also mobilized more than 136 million VND to support workers with dangerous diseases.
Occupational safety creates a sustainable cohesion foundation
At Mega Surplus Vietnam Shoe Co., Ltd. (Tan Ngai ward), recommendations on salaries, benefits, meals and working conditions were recorded and answered directly by businesses.
Worker Nguyen Thi Hong said that many opinions of workers were promptly removed, helping workers feel more secure at work.
The grassroots trade union of Ty Xuan Co., Ltd. (Hoa Phu Industrial Park) coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize a workshop to improve the effectiveness of occupational safety and health in the digital age.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - proposed that the Trade Union organization continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of being closer to workers, closer to grassroots levels and more practical.
