On May 26, information from Nghe An Provincial People's Committee said that it had just issued Plan No. 376/KH-UBND on organizing activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1945 - July 27, 2025). Accordingly, all levels and sectors in the province are required to coordinate in implementing extensive propaganda on the tradition of " compliments and gratitude", through specialized pages, press columns, television reports, visual media forms and community activities.
The province will commend outstanding collectives and individuals in caring for people with meritorious services; spreading examples of people with meritorious services who overcome difficulties and do good business; at the same time, promoting the dissemination of practical gratitude models among the people.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to guide the Front system at all levels to deploy the campaign to build a gratitude fund, with the lead in receiving and managing from the Department of Home Affairs. The use of funds is made in accordance with regulations, aiming to effectively support the care and nursing activities of people with meritorious services.
The province will also organize a delegation of outstanding meritorious people to meet with Party and State leaders in Hanoi, combined with tours of historical relics and ancient battlefields in some northern provinces. In addition, many groups will be organized to offer flowers and incense at martyrs' cemeteries in and outside the province.
On the evening of July 26, 2025, the whole province simultaneously held a candle burning ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs. Units caring for and caring for meritorious people will also be supported by the province according to regulations.
Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long said that all commemorative activities need to be organized solemnly, practically, effectively, in accordance with the actual conditions of each locality and unit.
