On the morning of November 17, at VSIP Industrial Park, the Department of Construction of the Fatherland Security Protection Movement (Ministry of Public Security) coordinated with the Labor Relations Department - Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Conway Joint Stock Company and Medlab General Clinic to launch the Free Health Examination and Consultation Program for Workers and Employees; at the same time, mobilizing workers to actively participate in the movement of All People Protecting National Security (ANTQ).
This is an activity to launch Plan 2146, aiming to provide free medical examinations for 15,000 workers in 7 provinces and cities, to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
In recent times, the police force has accompanied the working class through many activities to propagate the law, build a model of "Workers for National Security", "Safe Enterprises - Happy Workers", the Security and Order self-management team in industrial parks; along with social security programs such as free medical examination, housing support, livelihoods, and care for workers in difficulty. These activities contribute to building a safe and stable working environment and spreading the movement of All People Protecting Security and Order in Enterprises.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen The Nam, Head of the Mass Mobilization Department, Department of Construction of the Movement for National Security Protection, affirmed: Workers and laborers are the core force in the development of the country.
Caring for workers' health has profound political, social and humanitarian significance. In the context of extensive integration, workers need to proactively participate in the movement of All People Protecting National Security to contribute to maintaining security in enterprises and the community.
Mr. Cao Nguyen Hung, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, said: "Nghe An is honored to be one of the 7 localities selected to implement the program. In Nghe An, the activity will take place for 5 days (November 17 - 21, 2025), with 2,000 union members and workers at VSIP Industrial Park receiving free examinations".
The examination package worth 1.9 million VND/person includes blood cancer screening tests, Thalassemia screening, ultrasound, general internal medicine examination... conducted by Conway - Medlab. The program helps workers detect early the risk of disease, while integrating propaganda to prevent crime, black credit, social evils and raising awareness of self-defense.
Mr. Hung affirmed that this is a humane activity, demonstrating the concern of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the working class; contributing to helping workers feel secure in their work, contributing to the development of the province.
