On the afternoon of November 11, at km1687+100 National Highway 1, passing through Dong Bac village (Dai Lanh commune, Khanh Hoa province), a container truck with license plate 29H-XXX driven by Vu Duc Tuyen (born in 1999, residing in Hung Yen) was traveling in the South - North direction when it suddenly caught fire.

According to the driver, while traveling through the above area, he discovered black smoke coming from the back of the car, so he immediately took the car to the side of the road and reported to the professional fire fighting force to assist.
Upon receiving the report, Dai Lanh Commune Police, security guards and people quickly arrived at the scene, supported extinguishing the fire and moving goods and assets out of the vehicle.
A few minutes later, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police of Khanh Hoa Province Police arrived at the scene, promptly controlled the fire, and limited property damage.

The container truck is owned by a cargo transportation service company headquartered in Hanoi, specializing in express delivery of goods.
Initially, the authorities determined that the cause of the fire could be due to self-immolation of the cargo components in the container. The case is currently being investigated and the damage is clarified.
