As an electrical engineer, Mr. La Van Giap is responsible for the entire electrical system and auxiliary machinery at the unit. After many years as an electrical repairman, Mr. La Van Giap has not only strived to perfect his skills but also always been aware of grasping new and creative technology in every small job.
The production environment has a high level of electrical safety risk, so Mr. Giap always puts safety and efficiency first. He proactively builds periodic maintenance and repair processes, while updating and applying technical solutions to limit incidents, shorten repair time, and save costs for businesses.
One of Mr. Giap's typical initiatives is the installation of an electrical cabinet drying system, helping to protect equipment from moisture - the leading cause of fire, operational disruption and property damage. This solution not only helps prolong the life of the device but also significantly reduces periodic maintenance costs for the Company.
Mr. Giap also improved the constant source control system, switching to using the source from the UPS cabinet, ensuring that the device still operates stably even when the main system has a problem. This is a highly applicable technical step forward, ensuring continuity and safety in the waste treatment line - a field that requires strict operation and control.
The special thing about Mr. Giap is his high sense of responsibility in training and developing the next generation of technical teams. From 2023 to present, he has directly guided and trained dozens of new workers in his technical team on repair and maintenance skills for electrical systems and machinery. Mr. Giap is also a regular organizer of dissemination sessions on labor safety procedures, fire prevention and fighting techniques for workers.
