Regarding the plan to separate lanes for vehicles on Vo Chi Cong and Pham Van Dong streets, on June 20, a representative of the Hanoi Department of Construction said that traffic reorganization is one of the important solutions to ensure traffic order and safety, gradually raising people's awareness when participating in traffic, while contributing to reducing congestion.
Accordingly, the Department of Construction will preside over and coordinate with the Hanoi City Police and related units to agree on a plan to organize the division of vehicle lanes on the two above-mentioned routes.

Vo Chi Cong route: The lane division starts from the entrance to the elevated road to the front of the road leading to the separation of the river from Vo Chi Cong to the Red River dike ( Au Co road). According to the plan, three lanes outside the median strip will be arranged as separate lanes for cars. The remaining lanes serve mixed traffic.
The lanes reserved for cars will be separated from the mixed lanes by a hard median strip (steel fence). The change of direction of the vehicle will be carried out at intersections and turning points on the route according to the instructions of the traffic sign system placed on the dragon fruit price frame, helping the vehicle driver easily observe and follow the correct lane.
In addition, an surveillance camera system will be installed along the route to serve the work of strictly handling traffic violations.
Pham Van Dong route: The extended traffic diversion range from the intersection with Hoang Quoc Viet road to the roundabout into Ciputra urban area. The plan also arranges two lanes close to the median strip, which is a lane reserved for cars, the remaining lanes are for mixed vehicles.
Similar to the Vo Chi Cong route, car lanes are separated from mixed lanes by a hard median strip. Vehicles will change direction at intersections and turning points according to the directional signs on the dragon fruit price frame. At the same time, the route will also be fully equipped with a camera system to support the authorities in handling violations.
The representative of the Department of Construction recommended that during the implementation process, traffic participants need to coordinate and pay attention to observing the locations under construction to ensure safety.
