Arousing creativity from each worker
In recent years, the emulation movement "Good labor, creative labor" has been widely implemented by the Trade Union levels of Hung Yen province, becoming an important spiritual support, strongly arousing the patriotism, will to rise up and aspiration to contribute of the team of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLĐ). Not only is it a formal emulation movement, it has truly become a driving force to promote innovation in each production line, each agency, unit, and enterprise.
From practical implementation, the movement is increasingly proving its clear effectiveness when associated with professional tasks, production and business of each industry and each field. Many initiatives and technical improvements have been born from direct workers, contributing to improving productivity, product quality and operational efficiency of enterprises.
At Tien Phong Thai Binh Co., Ltd. (Le Quy Don commune) - a shoe manufacturing company, Mr. Tran Khac Hung is one of the typical examples with many initiatives effectively applied to production practice. Prominent is the solution to improve the position of heat-pressed leather, while adjusting the pressing time and temperature, helping to optimize the operating process, increase safety and improve labor productivity.
Before the improvement, workers only produced about 50 shoe surfaces per hour. After applying the initiative, productivity increased to about 100 shoe surfaces/hour. Not only helping to increase output, this solution also contributes to reducing labor pressure, improving working conditions and income for workers.

These results are partly thanks to the concern and creation of conditions by the enterprise. According to Mr. Lin Hsueh Pin - Director of Tien Phong Thai Binh Co., Ltd. factory, the emulation movement has created a strong spread, attracting a large number of workers to participate and arousing the spirit of innovation throughout the factory. The enterprise always focuses on investing in equipment, arranging time and appropriate human resources to support workers in realizing creative ideas.
At the same time, the company maintains a mechanism of commendation and timely encouragement, thereby encouraging employees to boldly propose initiatives, promote capacity, and contribute to improving production and business efficiency.
In that emulation environment, many advanced examples continue to be recognized, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Cu - Production Team Leader of Hung Long Garment and Service Joint Stock Company (Duong Hao ward). In 2025, she was commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as a typical worker and a party member. Not only completing her professional tasks well, she is also a "innovation nucleus" with dozens of technical improvements applied to production, bringing a profit value of more than 2.5 billion VND to the enterprise.
One of the outstanding initiatives is the improvement of the technique of hand-stitching without staples. Previously, workers had to use staples to fix three layers of materials, which was both time-consuming and laborious to remove after sewing. From production practice, she researched a sewing method that does not require staples but still ensures technical requirements, helping to reduce redundant operations, save materials and improve labor productivity. Thanks to that, the average income of the production team she is in charge of reached nearly 12 million VND/person/month.
These results show that the "Good Labor, Creative Labor" movement is not only stopping at the emulation slogan, but has truly become substantive, becoming an intrinsic need of workers in the process of working and production.
Sustainable development driving force
According to Ms. Do Thi Huong - Chairwoman of the Hung Yen Provincial Labor Federation, in 2025, tens of thousands of workers in the province actively participated in patriotic emulation movements launched by Trade Unions at all levels. In which, the focus is on movements "Good labor, creative labor", "Productivity, quality, efficiency", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene"...
The movements aim to improve productivity, product quality, production and business efficiency, while ensuring labor safety and hygiene; thereby encouraging workers to promote initiatives, technical improvements, rationalization of production, application of scientific and technical advances and new technologies, contributing to improving the efficiency of machinery and equipment.
According to the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation, the implementation of emulation movements is always associated with the implementation of Conclusion No. 01 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05, promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. Thanks to that, the movement has created a vibrant emulation atmosphere, encouraging the spirit of enthusiastic labor among union members and workers, making an important contribution to the completion of production and business tasks of enterprises.
From practical implementation, thousands of initiatives of union members and workers have been applied to production, bringing benefits of tens of billions of VND to businesses. At the same time, hundreds of initiatives and solutions in the field of occupational safety and health have been effectively implemented, contributing to preventing risks and improving working conditions. Many typical collectives and individuals have also been commended and promptly recognized by the Provincial People's Committee and the Trade Union organization.
In parallel with that, the work of caring for and protecting workers' rights continues to be promoted, helping workers and employees feel secure in sticking with businesses, actively promoting initiatives and technical improvements. Many initiatives not only help improve productivity but also contribute to ensuring labor safety and hygiene, and improving the working environment. From the reality of the movement, it can be seen that "Good labor, creative labor" is not just a simple emulation movement but has become a driving force for sustainable development, making an important contribution to the growth of businesses and the socio-economic development of the locality.
