Attending were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An - Chairman of the Vietnam Education Union (CĐGD); Ms. Le Thi Mai Oanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Education Union and representatives of trade unions of universities, colleges, and units in the emulation bloc of the Vietnam Education Union. Especially attending the workshop were employees and workers who directly achieved results at units in the emulation bloc of the Vietnam Education Union.
As part of the series of practical activities of Workers' Month and the 2026 "Thank you to Workers" Program of the Vietnam Education Union, the workshop is an opportunity for workers to frankly share practical difficulties in work and life. At the same time, workers directly propose and recommend to professionals through the trade union about regimes, policies, benefits and working environment; creating a basis for understanding and adjusting policies in a timely manner, contributing to building a sustainable collective development.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Education Union Nguyen Ngoc An affirmed that the trade union organization is undergoing strong changes. Instead of only focusing on outstanding and outstanding individuals, the Vietnam Education Union has shifted its attention to employees and people directly involved in production at universities and units directly under the Vietnam Education Union.

According to Mr. An, this is the group that needs the most trade union support; care does not stop at material problems, but the core is companionship, empathy and spiritual support. That mission has been realized by specific actions over the years.
The Trade Union appreciates all efforts of employees in any job. Therefore, in the past 3 years, we have invited security guards, drivers, garbage workers... from universities to participate in the program to thank their silent contributions. This change has received support from workers across the country, especially the responsible and enthusiastic response of unit leaders," Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An said.
As one of the workers present at the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia, library staff - Trade Union of Hanoi University of Physical Education and Sports, expressed her emotion when direct workers like her received timely attention and support from trade union levels, especially in the context that the school is implementing autonomy plans according to the State's policy.

Exchanging about how to adapt to the innovation mechanism in units today, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nghia said that to maintain their working positions, employees and workers must always complete their assigned tasks well, and at the same time constantly learn and self-improve to improve their professional qualifications.
Sharing at the workshop, Mr. Tran Huu Phuc - Chairman of the Trade Union of Da Nang University said that besides the teaching staff, direct labor groups such as security guards, drivers, and garbage workers play a role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school. To concretize the care plan of the Vietnam Education Union, the Standing Committee of the Trade Union and the leaders of member schools of Da Nang University have agreed on a plan to maximize support for workers participating in activities in Hanoi implemented by the Vietnam Education Union.

“We think that this is not just a trip, but a worthy honor for the silent contributions. For many cleaning staff or security guards, this is the first time they have flown, the first time they have entered Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. Looking at their smiles and happiness before takeoff, we know we have done the right mission of the trade union organization...”, Mr. Tran Huu Phuc shared.
