On the morning of June 7, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor organized the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Good labor, high productivity, good income". The ceremony took place at the main bridge point and was connected online to more than 100 bridge points nationwide, with the participation of over 20,000 union members and workers.
In Thanh Hoa, the bridge point was organized at Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Hoang Phu Branch, with the participation of representatives of leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Labor Federation, departments, branches and hundreds of union members and workers. The Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. represents more than 300,000 union members and workers throughout the province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Luong Trong Thanh - Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - said that the whole province currently has over 300,000 workers working in enterprises. As a locality with a large economic scale and a large workforce, Thanh Hoa is striving to achieve double-digit growth and become a new growth pole in the North. Responding to today's emulation movements is not only a political responsibility but also an important solution to create motivation for development in the new period.
In the context of the fourth industrial revolution, digital transformation, green transformation and international integration taking place more and more deeply, the requirements for workers are not only to work hard but also to be smarter, more productive, more creative and more professional.
Today's emulation movement is not simply a movement, but an important solution to build high-quality human resources, improve labor productivity, business competitiveness, improve income and improve the material and spiritual life of workers.
In the period 2026–2031, Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation focuses on synchronously deploying two major emulation movements including: "Good labor, high productivity, good income"; "Exleasing potential, promoting innovative ideas associated with digital transformation".
To realize these movements, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation deploys three key tasks with 9 activities, including: Organizing emulation movements through training and fostering skills activities; provincial skilled workers contest; building and awarding the "Golden Hand" Award honoring excellent skilled workers.
Arousing the spirit of innovation, digital transformation, and green transformation through the Technical Innovation Contest, the Incubator model, and the Innovation Workers' Day.
Improve the quality of grassroots trade unions and trade union officials through building a model of "Model Trade Union - Exemplary Union Member", skills training, and commending exemplary officials.
At the program, representatives of leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front and Provincial Labor Federation presented: 12 bicycles to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties and study well; presented Trade Union identification shirts to 12 union members.
At the same time, placing signs at the construction site to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress held at workshop 19, Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. - Hoang Phu Branch. On this occasion, delegates also attended the 2026 Skilled Worker Contest of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union.
