At Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company (CASUMINA), Ms. Le Thu Huong - Head of Import-Export Department - is always known as a dynamic and creative manager, making a great contribution to exporting the company's products to the world.
Graduating with a major in foreign affairs from Foreign Trade University, Ms. Huong has been attached to the import and export sector for 26 years, including 24 years working at CASUMINA.
Gradually striving, from the position of international payment staff, then successively undergoing many job positions, from staff, deputy head of department, until 2016, Ms. Huong was appointed Head of Import-Export Department of CASUMINA.
Sharing with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Huong said that import and export is a field with high pressure, especially for women in the rubber industry, requiring dedication and responsibility in work. Each successful export contract is the result of a whole process of effort and perseverance, the larger the contract value, the more difficult the contract, the greater the joy when completed.
Women who are managers often face double the pressure. At the company, they must complete their tasks well, and at home they are still capable wives, mothers, and children who know how to take care of and nurture family happiness. It is the companionship and sharing of the family that has given me more strength and time for work," Ms. Huong said.
According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoat - Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of CASUMINA Company - Ms. Huong is a good female manager, always has many initiatives and is dedicated to her work, worthy of being a "two-good" woman.
With her contributions, Ms. Huong is the only female head of department among the 30 managers honored at the Patriotic Emulation Congress of Vietnam National Chemical Group in the period 2020 - 2025 recently held.
