Article 49 of Decree 152/2025/ND-CP (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the principles for calculating bonuses as follows:
- Bonuses for individuals, collectives, and households to be rewarded are calculated based on the basic salary level prescribed by the Government in effect at the time of issuance of the decision to recognize emulation titles and decide on the form of reward.
- The bonus after multiplying by the basic salary coefficient is rounded to tens of thousands of VND in Vietnamese currency.
- Higher emulation titles and forms of commendation have higher bonuses.
- In the same form of reward, the same level of reward, the bonus level for the collective is higher than the bonus level for the individual.
- At the same time, a subject who achieves many emulation titles, with different times to be counted to achieve those emulation titles, will receive bonuses for the corresponding emulation titles.
At the same time, a subject who achieves many emulation titles and has the same time to achieve those emulation titles will receive the highest emulation title bonus.
- At the same time, a subject who achieves many forms of commendation, has different times and achievements in achieving those forms of commendation will receive bonuses for the corresponding forms of commendation.
- At the same time, a subject who is both awarded an emulation title and has a form of commendation decided will receive bonuses for the emulation title and the form of commendation.
- In case of implementing salary reform policies, the Government will regulate emulation and reward funds and bonus levels for emulation titles, forms of commendation for individuals, collectives, and households.
