According to Ms. Tran Thi Hue - Chairwoman of the company's Trade Union, during the hot season (from May), the company adds cool water such as sugar alcohol lemon juice, and the finished goods bring to the work area of workers in the workshop. Workers with refreshment needs can easily use it.
This year alone, the company has a direction to support employees in the hot season with an amount of 500,000 VND/person/month (from June to September). As for shift meals, when the temperature is above 35 degrees Celsius, the cafeteria will serve additional cool ceiling water for employees to use right at the meal, said Ms. Hue.
Ms. Dang Thi Thu Trang (worker at Viet Thuan Garment Company Limited) shared: "Although the inside of the workshop is not air conditioned, with the advantage of growing many trees around the company, it creates a cool green space, helping us work less heat. During working time, there is also ice lemon juice, so it helps us cool down better."
At Maxport Limited Viet Nam - Nam Dinh Branch (also known as Maxport Nam Dinh 5) to create a "green - clean - beautiful" working environment for employees, the company has designed a campus with a system of green trees and clean vegetable gardens right at the workplace.

In addition to the proactiveness of enterprises, Nam Dinh Provincial Trade Unions at all levels organize dialogues, negotiations, and propose many solutions to prevent heat for workers. During the sunny and hot peak months of the summer, the trade union guides grassroots trade unions to implement solutions to prevent summer heat for workers.
