On September 11, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Dak Lak Mondolkiri Rubber Development Company Limited (a member unit of the Trade Union of Dak Lak Rubber Company) - informed that the unit had just organized the program "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" for children of workers at the company.
Accordingly, more than 250 children of workers (including both Vietnamese and Cambodian) working at Dak Lak Mondolkiri Rubber Development Company Limited were given gifts and experienced meaningful activities during the event.
During the program, the children had the opportunity to participate in activities together and watch the lion dance. This was the first time that the children in Cambodia witnessed the colorful lion dance. The loud drum beats and the graceful lion dance made many children excited, joyful and happy.
According to Mr. Tuan, with the consent and maximum support from the managing unit, Dak Lak Rubber Joint Stock Company, the unit has implemented this meaningful activity to help children of workers in Cambodia have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival, full of love.
Besides, many children of local workers with extremely difficult circumstances were also very excited to participate in the useful playground and socialize with friends of the same age.
Also at the program, the unit also implemented the free "SAMAKI Fresh Milk Fund" for children under 10 years old. When having 1 box of milk every day during the week, the child's physical and mental health will develop evenly according to their age.
"When the Company takes comprehensive care of their children, workers can work with peace of mind, focus on economic development, and increase production.
Milk is provided completely free of charge to the children of workers without any deductions from monthly salaries and annual bonuses.
