Diverse activities to care for union members
On International Children's Day June 1st, the Trade Union of Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd. presented 7,143 gifts to children of union members and workers. Among them, children of union members in difficult circumstances and suffering from serious illnesses are supported at a higher level. The total value of gifts on this occasion is 748 million VND.
Mr. Ho Sy Quoc - Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Hung Nghiep Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Co., Ltd. - said that on the occasion of Workers' Month 2026, the Company's Grassroots Trade Union coordinated with businesses to organize periodic health check-ups, strengthen occupational safety and health, and present more than 5,000 gifts to workers, with a total value of more than 1.25 billion VND.
The company also commended 32 outstanding employees, donated gold to 641 employees who have been attached for many years; in which, people who have worked for 5 to 15 years will receive from 1.2 to 3 taels of gold.

Happy to be supported by the Trade Union to build a house
Mr. Ngo Dinh Van - Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation - said that in the past time, Ha Tinh Trade Union levels have had many practical activities to care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Caring activities are implemented in a variety of ways, from giving gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, children of union members on International Children's Day, supporting Trade Union Warm Houses, organizing Trade Union Meals, health check-ups, to arts, sports, tourism and legal propaganda for workers.
In which, specifically on the occasion of Workers' Month, from the Ha Tinh Trade Union Social Fund, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation has supported 215 million VND to build and repair 6 Trade Union Warm Houses. Since the beginning of 2026, the Ha Tinh Trade Union Social Fund has supported the construction and repair of 17 Trade Union Warm Houses with a total amount of 535 million VND.
As a union member who has just been supported by the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation with 40 million VND to build a Trade Union Warm House, Ms. Hoang Thi Nhung - a union member of the Tien Dien Health Center - emotionally shared: "My family is very happy and touched to be cared for and supported by the Trade Union organization to build a Trade Union Warm House. Thanks to this valuable support, my family boldly borrowed more to build a new spacious and solid house.
