TopCV - a recruitment technology platform has just released a recruitment market report 2024-2025. Accordingly, in 2025, there are 5 groups of industries that will recruit a lot of workers.

Business, sales

According to TopCV's report, 65.2% of businesses identified promoting business and expanding the market as the top priority in 2024-2025. To achieve this goal, 47.6% of businesses said they will focus on recruiting Sales/Business personnel, especially those with 2-3 years of experience, followed by those with 1-2 years of experience. This is the key force that directly generates revenue, expands the market and attracts customers.

Compared to the 2023-2024 report, the recruitment demand for the Business/Sales group has increased by about 8.3%,

In addition, although the Business/Sales group is the top recruitment priority, 21.6% of business representatives believe that this group is also susceptible to personnel optimization when necessary, due to the impact of market changes (52.34%). Some other groups such as Marketing/Communication/Advertising (9%) and Customer Service (7.5%) are also in the optimization target because these positions can be restructured in terms of multi-tasking.

IT – Software

IT - Software is the second industry group in terms of recruitment demand, focusing on candidates with at least 2 - 3 years of experience and specialists with 3 - 5 years of experience (accounting for 12.2%).

However, the IT - Software recruitment market still faces many challenges, especially the shortage of high-quality human resources (55.03%). Technology companies compete fiercely, applying attractive compensation policies to attract talent (49.7%), but retaining staff is not easy.

The recruitment process for this group is often complicated with multiple rounds of interviews and technical tests, such as Code Testing or Algorithm Challenges. Due to the long recruitment time and slow response, many businesses have missed out on potential candidates.

For the IT - Software group (5.7%), human resources are often adjusted when the market changes its technology needs, forcing businesses to coordinate resources more flexibly. Although the supply of candidates in the IT - Software industry is abundant, businesses still face challenges in human resource quality due to a shortage of highly skilled people.

Marketing/Communication/Advertising

According to TopCV, the Marketing/Media/Advertising industry has a fairly high recruitment demand, accounting for 9.3% of recruitment demand in 2025.

Customer Service

According to TopCV, customer care services have a recruitment demand of 5.1%.

Human Resources

According to TopCV, the number of employees in need of recruitment accounts for 4%.

The report from TopCV shows that the labor market picture in 2025 has both great opportunities and many challenges. The ability to adapt quickly, invest in soft skills and grasp technology trends will determine the success of workers and businesses in the context of the AI era.

In addition, the application of AI in the fields of business/sales, IT - software and marketing/communication/advertising is considered a top priority for businesses in 2025. AI helps optimize costs and improve work efficiency, especially in repetitive tasks or tasks with consistent processes. AI applications are considered necessary for industries that use data and require the ability to process large amounts of data.
