Recruitment demand in this industry is highest in two periods, March, April and July, August.
In the real estate industry, recruiting takes place year-round due to long sales cycles and high competition.
In the retail and consumer goods industry, peak hiring is from March to May.
IT-Software is still in the group of people who are thirsty for human resources, especially candidates with 2-3 years of experience. 55% of surveyed business representatives said that the supply is not limited but there is a shortage of highly skilled human resources; nearly 50% said that there is fierce competition from technology giants or startups thanks to attractive benefits and working environment; 37% are concerned about the difficulty of retaining talent because they have many job opportunities.
In Hanoi alone, businesses prioritize recruiting workers in industries related to information technology, AI, renewable energy, green economy and digital transformation.
Commenting on the Hanoi labor market in early 2025, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center Vu Quang Thanh said that in 2025, businesses in Hanoi are expected to focus on recruiting workers in industries related to information technology, renewable energy, green economy and digital transformation.
Positions like programmers, data analysts, artificial intelligence (AI) specialists, and cybersecurity engineers will continue to lead the hiring demand in the technology industry.
In addition, manufacturing and logistics businesses will focus on positions such as automation engineers, supply chain managers, and quality management specialists to meet the requirements of process optimization and new technology application.
The renewable energy and green economy sector also promises to grow strongly, with high demand for environmental engineers, clean energy development specialists, and sustainability project managers.
In addition, businesses in the e-commerce and customer service sectors will continue to recruit heavily in positions such as digital marketing specialists, customer experience managers, and customer care specialists to keep up with the digitalization trend and growing consumer demand.
Continue to attract large labor force

These are areas with strong development potential and bring many job opportunities for workers in Hanoi.
In 2025, the Hanoi Employment Service Center forecasts that the Hanoi labor market will continue to stabilize and develop further thanks to the city's socio-economic policies and investment attraction mechanisms.

The center will promote technology application solutions, improve the quality of job transactions, especially online sessions.
