The hundred billion inter-provincial road is about to be completed
The 6.68km-long Ring Road V through Thai Nguyen province connecting Bac Giang province with an investment of 699.3 billion VND, invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Project Management Board (PMU), started construction in 2021.
Recorded by PV at the beginning of 2025, the project's shape has gradually emerged. Some sections are waiting for the ground to be leveled before asphalt is laid and the median strip system is installed.

According to the Investor, the roadbed construction has reached 99% of the volume; the crushed stone roadbed has reached 80%; the asphalt concrete road surface has reached 45%; the drainage system has reached 100%; the Kenh Chinh bridge and Kenh Troi bridge projects have reached 100%.
This is one of the province's key projects, which when completed will connect the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Expressway with National Highway 37 and Bac Giang province. From there, the traffic infrastructure will be improved, travel will be convenient, creating momentum for trade and local economic development.
Final stretch on the hundred billion project
The project connecting National Highway 37 and Provincial Road (DT) 269B has a total investment of 222 billion VND, invested by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, and will be implemented in December 2023.
The project is designed according to the standards of a grade III mountain road. The total length of the route is 6.1 km, passing through the communes of Xuan Phuong, Tan Kim, and Tan Thanh (Phu Binh).

After more than 1 year of implementation, the entire route has been basically completed and paved with asphalt. The hard bridge and approach roads are in the process of being completed.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang - Chairman of Tan Kim Commune People's Committee said that the project's progress is currently over 90%, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2025.
"The locality and people also really hope that the project will be completed and put into use soon. This completed route will make traveling easier, shortening travel time and distance," Mr. Dang added.
Hundred billion road connecting war zone
The project to upgrade and expand the route from Km31 (QL.3) to the Dinh Hoa National Special Historical Site has a total investment of more than 300 billion VND. The project is invested by the Thai Nguyen Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and will be implemented from the end of 2021.
The 33km long route passes through the communes of Binh Yen, Phu Dinh and Diem Mac (Dinh Hoa district). The project belongs to group B, built according to the standards of grade III mountainous roads, with a 9m wide roadbed, 8m wide road surface, 7cm thick asphalt concrete, and a maximum design speed of 60km/h.

After about 3 years of implementation, most of the road surface has been paved with asphalt. The hard bridge projects: Suoi Dinh, Tin Keo, Na Tam are still in the process of implementation.
According to information from the People's Committee of Phu Dinh Commune (Dinh Hoa District), the project, which is about 7km long and has been basically completed, is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
When completed, the route will help improve traffic infrastructure and facilitate travel. At the same time, it will create momentum for the ATK Dinh Hoa war zone to fully exploit its potential and strengths in historical and ecological tourism.
