According to Article 4 of Decree 135/2020/ND-CP, the retirement age of employees under normal working conditions according to Clause 2, Article 169 of the Labor Code is specifically regulated as follows:
From January 1, 2021, the retirement age of employees in normal working conditions is 60 years and 3 months for male employees and 55 years and 4 months for female employees; then, it increases by 3 months each year for male employees until reaching 62 years old in 2028 and by 4 months each year for female employees until reaching 60 years old in 2035.
In 2024, the retirement age of male workers under normal conditions is 61 years old and the retirement age of female workers under normal conditions is 56 years and 4 months.
Thus, when retiring with 20 years or more of social insurance contributions, female workers in normal conditions born in May, June, July 1968 will have the corresponding retirement dates of October, November, December 2024.
Male workers under normal conditions born in September, October, November 1963 have corresponding retirement dates of October, November, December 2024.
