Pregnant female worker "cries for help
On March 23, Mr. Mai Xuan Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province said that he had transferred the complaint of Ms. Le Thi Kieu Oanh to the General Director of Texma Vina Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai province) for consideration and settlement according to the provisions of law and notified the settlement results in writing (accompanied by relevant documents) to the Department of Home Affairs before April 19, 2026.

Previously, on March 17, Ms. Le Thi Kieu Oanh sent a complaint to the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province and the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai province regarding the transfer of workers to other jobs compared to labor contracts.
In the application, Ms. Oanh said: In 2021, she and the company agreed to change jobs from human resources staff to QA staff. On October 27, 2025, she was informed that the company transferred her to work at the sample sewing department, the specific job was to make reports for the department, not manual labor, but when she went down to work in reality, she had to carry a lot of goods. In November 2025, she had a miscarriage. After that, she presented the difficulties to the company and requested to be transferred to work at the QA department according to the labor contract that the two parties had agreed upon, but the company did not resolve it.
On February 25, 2026, Ms. Oanh went for an ultrasound examination at the hospital and the results showed that she was more than 7 weeks pregnant and reported to the company. Also in the complaint, Ms. Oanh said that on March 17, 2026, she was "escorted" to the security room to sit, which was both hot and stuffy, so she felt tired.
Female workers feel discriminated against when having to sit in security rooms
Ms. Le Thi Kieu Oanh also sent a "relief petition" to Lao Dong Newspaper regarding the transfer of workers to other jobs compared to labor contracts.

According to actual records of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters in 2 days (morning of March 21 and afternoon of March 23), Ms. Oanh had to sit in the company's security room, located close to the road where many people pass by. In the security room, besides Ms. Oanh, there were other men sitting next to her. Ms. Oanh said that the fact that she had to sit in the security room for many days made her feel isolated, like being imprisoned, being alienated and discriminated against by colleagues, and she is currently feeling very confused and worried.
To definitively resolve the case, the Department of Home Affairs requests businesses to urgently review, resolve and send results reports on time. After the above deadline, if businesses do not send reports, the Department of Home Affairs will handle them strictly according to regulations" - Mr. Mai Xuan Tuan proposed.
The Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Nai province requests to resolve the application before March 27.
