On November 27, the Trade Union of Vemedim Veterinary Medicine and Biological Products Company Limited announced that the unit had just held its 1st Congress, term 2025-2030.
Over the past term, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union has actively inspected and supervised the implementation of policies and laws directly related to the legitimate rights and interests of workers. As a result, the regimes on salary, allowances, signing labor contracts, insurance, leave, annual leave, etc. at enterprises have been paid attention to and implemented in accordance with regulations.
The union advises and coordinates with employers to take many measures to care for the material and spiritual life and working conditions of union members and workers. Accordingly, the unit organized sick visits, holidays, allowances for difficulties, ... for 381 cases, with a total amount of 1.1 billion VND; organized quarterly birthday parties for members with an amount of 238 million VND.
In particular, the Executive Board of the Trade Union has advised the Board of Directors of the company to increase the mid- shift meal allowance for employees from 30,000 to 35,000 VND/meal/person.
Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Tran Tu Nhien acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and the units and employees at the Company.
In the 2025-2030 term, Ms. Tran Tu Nhien suggested that the Trade Union continue to promote propaganda work, raise political and ideological awareness for members and employees; focus on performing well the role of participating in developing and supervising the implementation of Internal Target Regulations, Grassroots Democracy Regulations, policies related to employment, wages, allowances, and benefits; build a truly united, capable, profound Executive Committee, grasp and promptly resolve the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of union members.
