No gaps or gaps left by grassroots trade unions
Currently, Hanoi City Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks are under the management of 363 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) with 162,139 union members. One of the goals to strive for is to admit 20,000 - 25,000 new union members each year, and establish a grassroots union at a unit with 25 or more employees.
To achieve this goal, the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030, of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks determined to focus on developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions, with the goal of not leaving any gaps or gaps in grassroots trade unions at enterprises. Strengthen propaganda so that employees and employers clearly understand the functions, tasks and benefits of establishing a Trade Union organization.
In the solutions, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks - emphasized the need to focus on training, fostering, and building a team of courageous, intellectual, and skilled Trade Union officials, especially grassroots Trade Union officials outside the State sector; innovate working style and working style in a close approach to the grassroots, listen to, and promptly resolve the legitimate aspirations of union members and workers.
Building the image of a dynamic and creative Trade Union organization
After streamlining the apparatus, the Trade Unions of USP's and USP's have determined to strongly innovate leadership style; build a realistic, dynamic, and creative image of the Trade Union organization, a reliable support for workers.
Therefore, the Trade Unions of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks will strengthen the comprehensive leadership role of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Trade Union; improve the capacity to concretize the Resolutions of the Party and Resolutions of Trade Union Congresses at all levels into action programs in accordance with the reality of the unit and enterprise. Innovation in leadership thinking towards science and democracy, closely following the grassroots, taking union members and workers as the center; well implementing the motto "Towards the grassroots, for union members and workers".
The Trade Unions of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks will develop a plan, train and foster Trade Union officials at all levels according to title standards, focusing on young cadres, female cadres, and cadres directly from workers.
Another innovation implemented by the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks is the selection of truly necessary and unique tasks of the Trade Union organization to develop programs and work plans to meet the requirements of the Trade Union.
The Hanoi City Labor Federation also requires the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Industrial Parks to focus on solutions and implement the content of Directive No. 18 of the Central Party Secretariat on "Promoting the role of improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations"; effectively implementing social supervision and criticism work, focusing on pressing issues and practical issues of union members and workers' lives.
