Comrade Nguyen Van Canh - Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial Federation of Labor proposed the above solution to promote the development of party members among workers at the Forum "Strive to be worthy of being a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the morning of February 16.
The rate of party members in non-state enterprises and FDI enterprises is still low
Comrade Nguyen Van Canh said that in 2024, the Bac Giang Provincial Trade Union coordinated to organize 11 training courses on Party awareness for 471 outstanding union members who are workers; an average of 1,872 outstanding union members for the Party to consider and admit; and admitted 363 party members who are workers, equal to 181.5% of the plan. Thanks to the addition of new party members, it is enough to establish 04 more departments in enterprises, bringing the total number of enterprises with party organizations to 97, including 23 FDI enterprises, the rest are DDI enterprises.
Although achieving good results, the work of developing the Party among workers still has limitations such as: Although the number of Party members among workers is increasing, it still accounts for a low proportion compared to the total number of workers. There are many enterprises that do not have a party organization, no party members or do not have official party members to guide and help reserve party members. The rate of party members in non-state enterprises and FDI enterprises is still low.
In addition, it is very difficult to find new factors to nurture and develop the Party from workers directly involved in production. In addition, in some places, business owners have not created favorable conditions for party development, even preventing and participating deeply in the work of the Party cell, especially FDI or DDI enterprises operating in a family-based manner.
Increasing forces and energy for the Party
To continue promoting the development of Party members among workers, comrade Nguyen Van Canh proposed to strengthen propaganda, education, raise class awareness, raise awareness of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws; gradually form and consolidate the ideological, ethical and lifestyle foundation among the working class. In which: Determine core contents, need to focus on propaganda and education. Diversify forms and methods of propaganda and education, especially through social networking sites.
Along with that, promote emulation movements in labor and production with specific and practical contents, creating conditions for union members and workers to strive to practice, promote their capacity and working skills... to discover typical, advanced factors for the Party to consider, train and admit.
Comrade Nguyen Van Canh recommended that the Party Committee continue to organize training courses to raise awareness of the Party for the group of excellent workers, especially the group of key union officials in enterprises. Continue to innovate processes and procedures to shorten time, choose locations to foster awareness of the Party in accordance with the needs of workers.
Propose to Party committees to be loyal to establish and improve the quality of Party organizations in enterprises; innovate Party activities to suit the production and business activities of enterprises, especially Party activities in groups and Party cells with many Party members in many different enterprises in industrial parks and clusters. Respectfully assign reasonable work to party members in enterprises. Each Party member is active, self-conscious, raising the sense of responsibility in performing the work assigned by the Party cell; the Party Committee creates favorable conditions for Party members to perform well the assigned work and strengthens inspection and supervision of Party members.
Along with that, strengthen the leadership of the Party Committee, coordination between the trade union with socio-political organizations, workers and business owners; build coordination regulations between the Party organization, trade union organization and business owners; enhance dialogue between trade union representatives, workers... and business owners at the workplace; in which, focus on solving pressing issues that workers are interested in.
"With the significance of increasing the force and resources for the Party, I believe that with appropriate solutions and the sense of responsibility of trade unions at all levels, the work of training, harmonizing and developing Party members among workers will achieve many good results to contribute to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW, dated June 16, 2022 of the 13th Party Central Committee on "Strengthening the consolidation and building of grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members in the new period" - comrade Nguyen Van Canh believes.
