Pursuant to Article 19 of Decree 33/2023/ND-CP, there are regulations on allowances for commune-level leadership positions:
Commune-level cadres specified in Clause 1, Article 16 of this Decree are entitled to a leadership position allowance compared to the basic salary: Party Committee Secretary: 0.30.
Deputy Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council, Chairman of the People's Committee: 0.25.
Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee: 0.20.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, President of the Women's Union, President of the Farmers' Association, President of the Veterans' Association: 0.15.
According to the above regulations, the current leadership allowance coefficient for the position of Chairman of the Commune-level Fatherland Front Committee is 0.20.
The leadership allowance level is calculated according to the following formula:
Position allowance level = Basic salary x Allowance coefficient.
The basic salary in 2025 is 2.34 million VND. Thus, the leadership allowance for the Chairman of the Commune-level Fatherland Front Committee in 2025 is 468,000 VND/month.
