On the evening of September 22, Hai Chau Ward People's Committee coordinated with the Trade Union and the Ward Youth Union to organize the "Mid-Autumn Festival Night" in 2026, awarding 1,016 gifts to children in difficult circumstances in the area.
The program is for children with many activities such as Ms. Hang - Uncle Cuoi exchange, lantern procession, breaking feasts, art performances and lion dances. On this occasion, gifts were given to children of poor households, near-poor households, children in difficult circumstances and children of union members in difficult circumstances.
According to the Organizing Committee, 1,016 gifts with a total value of 250 million VND were made from the joint efforts of the locality and individuals, units, and businesses such as Satya Da Nang Hotel, Hai Chau Ward Business Association, Quang Army Architecture Construction and Interior Company, Trung Khoa Printing Co., Ltd.
Speaking at the program, Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee Le Qui Ha said that the locality identifies caring for, educating and protecting children as an important task. Children need to be given conditions to study, play and develop; in which children in difficult circumstances and disadvantaged children need to be given more attention.
Leaders of Hai Chau ward also emphasized the spirit of not letting children in difficult circumstances feel left behind, and at the same time wished to continue to receive the companionship of agencies, units, businesses and philanthropists in caring for children.
Besides the gifts, children were immersed in the Mid-Autumn atmosphere with lion dance drums, lantern processions and feast breaking.
Mid-Autumn Festival Night" contributes to bringing children, especially those in difficult circumstances, a fun evening and welcoming Mid-Autumn Festival in a warm atmosphere, and at the same time spreading the community's joint effort in caring for children.
