On January 24, Mr. Nguyen The Lap - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation confirmed that the Standing Committee of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee had submitted to the Provincial Party Executive Committee a project to rearrange and streamline the organizational apparatus of the Party, the Fatherland Front, provincial-level socio-political organizations and specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee.
This project includes restructuring the organizational structure of the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor.
Accordingly, the Provincial Federation of Labor currently has 4 committees, including the Organization and Inspection Committee, the Grassroots Work Committee, the Finance Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor Office. After the reorganization, it will be merged into 3 committees (the Finance Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor Office will become the Provincial Federation of Labor Office).
In particular, the Industry and Trade Union, the Health Care Union, the Construction Union, the Education Union, and the Civil Servants Union will stop operating.
Also according to the project, it will study the establishment of the Economic Zone Trade Union if qualified, and the establishment of the Party Agency Trade Union and the Provincial People's Committee Agency Trade Union.
Regarding the arrangement of staff and workers in the five unions that will be dissolved, Mr. Nguyen The Lap said that in the coming time, reasonable calculations will be made.
According to the project to rearrange and streamline the organizational apparatus of the Party, the Fatherland Front, provincial-level socio-political organizations and specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, after the rearrangement, the total number of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee will be 14, a reduction of 5 agencies; the organization within the agencies will be reduced by 14 units.
