On the afternoon of July 25, the Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to review the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in the first 6 months of the year, deploying tasks for the last 6 months of the year, and announcing the decision to establish the Central Grassroots Union Cluster.
The conference assessed the situation of union members and the work of developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in the past time, and deploying key union tasks for the last 6 months of the year.
At the conference, the organizing committee approved a number of important decisions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor related to the organization and apparatus.
In which, there is a decision on the establishment of grassroots Trade Union Clusters and the assignment of responsible staff.
Accordingly, the Central Trade Union Cluster has 160 grassroots trade unions with 13,093 union members (including grassroots trade unions in 14 wards and communes: Thanh Sen, Tran Phu, Ha Huy Tap, Thach Lac, Dong Tien, Cam Binh, Thach Khe, Cam Xuyen, Thien Cam, Cam Due, Cam Hung, Cam Lac, Cam Trung, Yen Hoa).
The officials assigned to be in charge of the Central Trade Union Cluster include: Mr. Nguyen Duc Thach - Member of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Deputy Head of the Economic Zone Trade Union; Ms. Phan Thi Mai Hoa - Deputy Head of the Economic Zone Trade Union; Mr. Tran Van Hieu - specialist of the Economic Zone Trade Union.
At the conference, delegates participated in discussions, focusing on groups of issues: How to operate grassroots trade unions when implementing the model of two-level administrative and trade union activities; issues related to trade union financial work; information channel for conveying documents, directives of the Provincial Federation for grassroots trade unions...
Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation explained the opinions of delegates from grassroots trade unions.
Mr. Nguyen Van Danh emphasized: The establishment of grassroots trade union clusters and cluster management officers aims to direct activities, ensure close access to the grassroots and in line with the trade union organization model under the Provincial Fatherland Front.
The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor will always listen to the voice of the grassroots level, organize practical activities, suitable to the economic situation at each grassroots level, ensure that trade union activities from the provincial level to the grassroots level are smooth and effective, meeting the requirements in the new situation.
