Responding to the Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026, on May 7, An Binh Ward Trade Union coordinated with the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Thai Duong Handbag Garment Co., Ltd. - Hong Ngu city to organize the launching ceremony of the model "Joining hands to raise children - Connecting union members", visit union members and workers in difficult circumstances and organize "Trade Union Meals" to care for the lives of union members and workers with young children and difficult circumstances.
The model "Joining hands to raise children - Connecting union members" is implemented with the aim of promoting the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection among workers; timely support for union members with young children, especially those in difficult circumstances, contributing to reducing the economic burden on the family, creating motivation for workers to feel secure in their work and stick with the business for a long time.
According to the plan, the model mobilizes union members and workers to voluntarily contribute from 10,000 to 20,000 VND/person/month with the message "Each person a little - Joining hands to raise children - Spreading love". The fund will be used to support cash for children of union members in difficult circumstances, with an expected support level of 300,000 VND/child/month and maintaining at least 3 cases of support each month.
Speaking at the ceremony, local leaders and the Ward Trade Union highly appreciated the practical significance of the model, and at the same time wished the grassroots trade union to continue to promote its role in caring for the lives of union members, building a humane and united working environment, contributing to stabilizing labor relations and sustainable business development.
On this occasion, local leaders and the Ward Trade Union presented 15 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances belonging to the grassroots trade union of Thai Duong Handbag Garment Co., Ltd. - Hong Ngu city and the grassroots trade union of Khang Thinh Garment Co., Ltd., each gift worth 500,000 VND in cash.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Ward Trade Union coordinated with the company to organize "Trade Union Meals" with an additional value of 20,000 VND/portion compared to the daily shift meal.
The activity not only contributes to improving the quality of meals for workers but also shows the concern and gratitude of the Trade Union organization and businesses for the contributions of workers in the production and business process.
