On New Year's Day, after completing the asphalt paving work, Mr. An, Mr. Tinh and hundreds of other workers organized a small meal to welcome 2025.
According to Lao Dong Newspaper reporters at the construction site of the Capital Region's Ring Road 4 through Dan Phuong District (Hanoi) in the first days of 2025, the parallel road has revealed its shape when viewed from above. On the first day of the year, the construction site had almost no time to stop the sound of machines, the workers were all full of enthusiasm, hoping to soon complete the set progress.
Ready to work through Lunar New Year
Speaking with Lao Dong, Mr. Hoang Trong Hai - Commander of construction team No. 1 (under package No. 9) said that the unit has mobilized many technical staff, engineers, and workers to work on the first day of the new year 2025.
"To ensure the progress committed to the investor, we encourage our workers to work through the New Year and will arrange compensatory days off for workers at the appropriate time," said Mr. Hai.
Up to now, construction team No. 1 is implementing the construction of K98 roadbed, crushed stone construction, and asphalt concrete paving - reaching 50% of the construction volume.
According to Mr. Hai, during the Lunar New Year, although there is no specific plan, everyone is willing to stay and work through Tet to complete the parallel road project in 2025.
Package No. 9 - construction of the parallel road of Ring Road 4 through Dan Phuong and Hoai Duc with a total length of more than 20km, constructed by contractor Vinaconex. This is the largest package of Ring Road 4 in the capital region through Hanoi. The package is divided into 3 construction areas, currently there are about 100 locomotives, equipment and 200 officers, engineers and workers mobilized by the contractor to construct project items. Up to now, package No. 9 has reached about 45% of the contract value.
At package No. 8 - construction of the parallel road of Ring Road 4 through Soc Son and Me Linh districts (13km), the representative of the contractor Truong Son Corporation said that up to this point, the package has completed about 64% of the construction volume, ensuring progress compared to the plan.
“For the sections with cleared land, the joint venture contractor commits to completing the construction of the Ring Road 4 parallel road project through Me Linh and Soc Son in June 2025. During the Lunar New Year 2025, if there is land, the unit will deploy throughout the holiday to keep up with the schedule,” said the contractor representative.
Similarly, package 10 through Ha Dong district and Thanh Oai district, package 11 through Thuong Tin are also being implemented by contractors in many construction phases simultaneously, ensuring the project's progress.
Started in June 2023, the Ring Road 4 project in the Capital Region has a total length of 112.8km through Hanoi, Hung Yen and Bac Ninh, with a total investment of over VND 85,000 billion.
In Hanoi, Ring Road 4 is more than 57km long, passing through Ha Dong, Soc Son, Me Linh, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, Thanh Oai and Thuong Tin districts.
After about 17 months since the commencement of the Ring Road 4 project, 4 construction packages in Hanoi have been simultaneously deployed on a route length of 48.35km with 32 construction points (23 road points, 9 bridge points).
Output to date has reached about VND 1,810 billion/VND 4,205 billion (43.04% of the contract value and 100% of the 2024 plan). Hanoi strives to complete the parallel road project in the fourth quarter of 2025.
