The Board of Directors of HD Hyundai Eco Vina Co., Ltd. has just organized an honoring ceremony and awarded prizes to union member Tran Quang Khoi for outstanding achievements with the initiative to improve the method of installing RMQC embankment cranes.
Mr. Khoi's initiative has brought clear efficiency to the Company's production and business activities in terms of costs, progress, safety and quality.
Regarding costs, the initiative helps completely cut the rental of 600-ton chain axles; significantly reduce the load of other auxiliary hydraulic axles (from 75 tons, 50 tons to only 25 tons). Thanks to that, the total cost of heavy equipment decreased from 1,151,960 USD to 819.706 USD, helping the Company save 332.254 USD, equivalent to about 8 billion VND without incurring initial investment costs.
Regarding progress, the initiative helps shorten the completion time of each trip by about 1 month. The complex installation process from 7 main steps is streamlined to a maximum of 3 main steps, creating conditions for parallel construction stages to be implemented earlier.
Regarding safety and quality, the initiative has eliminated most dangerous overhead jobs, shifting most operations to the ground, contributing to improving accuracy in installation and ensuring safety for workers. This is a breakthrough initiative, demonstrating the spirit of proactive research and creativity in the working process.
Mr. Choi Seung Hyun, General Director of HD Hyundai Eco Vina Co., Ltd., praised and awarded a prize worth 3 million VND to Mr. Tran Quang Khoi.
The General Director affirmed that the initiatives, improvements and changes in daily working operations of union members and workers have contributed to optimizing labor capacity, minimizing risks, and saving resources for the Company, thereby creating a foundation for the sustainable development of the HD Hyundai Eco Vina family.
