Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Ms. Bui Huyen Mai - Non-professional Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City chaired the discussion center.
In her introductory speech, Ms. Bui Huyen Mai said that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and member organizations have made efforts to innovate the content and methods of operation; strengthen contact, dialogue, listen to the people, supervise and conduct social criticism.

However, in the context of arranging the apparatus and administrative units according to the two-level local government model, the method of gathering people at times and in some places has not met practical requirements. Therefore, she requested delegates to focus on discussing and proposing solutions to promote the application of science and technology and digital transformation in the new era.
Expressing her opinion at the discussion session, Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Hoan - Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province - emphasized that digital transformation in Front work needs to be implemented more strongly, practically and synchronously.
The focus is on building a modern, interconnected, close-to-people, and close-to-people Front system; taking efficiency in serving the People and consolidating the great national unity bloc as a consistent goal.
According to Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Hoan, it is necessary to innovate thinking, enhance the responsibility of heads; build a synchronous "Digital Front" ecosystem, complete the operating platform, database and digital interaction channel with the People; and at the same time build a team of Front officials to adapt to the requirements of the digital age.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Si Tuan - Director of the Institute of Oceanography - said that the application of science and technology in seafood exploitation and marine farming is still limited.

According to him, to transfer technology effectively, it is necessary to develop high-tech industrial marine farming. The Front needs to play a role in connecting businesses, scientists and fishermen, contributing to the formation of a modern marine farming nền.
