Many online offers
On the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year, Ms. Pham My Linh - a trade union member of Dai Phat Nha Trang Security Service Co., Ltd. - received a trade union Tet gift, a digital shopping card worth 500,000 VND. From the issued code, she can easily operate on the computer to choose and shop according to her needs.
According to Ms. Linh, this is a new, appropriate and practical way of doing things. Previously, Tet gifts were usually cash or necessities given directly, union members had to come to receive and complete procedures. Now, with just a few online operations, gifts are accessed quickly and conveniently.
Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hong - a trade union member of Nam Thanh Ninh Thuan Construction Trading and Production Co., Ltd. - who received a voucher for preferential shopping for the first time, assessed that this form is not only convenient but also helps workers, especially older workers, get acquainted with digital shopping.
Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - said that taking care of union member welfare is the central task of the trade union. On the occasion of Tet 2026, the online Trade Union Tet Market is organized on the e-commerce platform of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with 5,080 vouchers (500,000 VND/voucher) sent to union members. This is an important step, helping workers shop conveniently, while promoting digital transformation in trade union activities.
Promoting digital welfare development
At the Trade Union of Long Sinh Co., Ltd., after applying technology, the Trade Union surveyed the needs of workers, reviewed the old collective labor agreement (LCA) and negotiated and signed a new agreement with 4 articles, 24 beneficial contents, an increase of 6 contents compared to before, contributing to improving working conditions and welfare for union members and workers.
Representatives of the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union said that in 2026, Long Sinh Trade Union will promote digital transformation, bringing functions and tasks into the digital management system, including monthly periodic efficiency assessment and workflow management. Thereby improving the quality of operations, better grasping the needs of union members to propose appropriate policies, especially deploying digital welfare quickly and effectively.
Mr. Phan Thanh Liem affirmed that digital welfare will be an inevitable trend in trade union digital transformation. This is also one of two breakthrough programs approved by the Executive Committee of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, aimed at improving the effectiveness of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers.
In the coming time, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation will expand cooperation with businesses, diversify welfare content, strengthen inspection and supervision of product and service quality. Digital welfare programs are not only gifts but also a bridge between trade unions and union members, contributing to creating a cohesive and sustainable working environment.
