On the afternoon of June 17, the Standing Committee of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a conference to summarize the activities of Workers' Month in 2025, along with commendation of outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Attending and directing the conference was Ms. Ho Thi Cam Dao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Soc Trang province.

According to the report of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the Workers' Month 2025 was implemented synchronously and effectively under the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the active coordination of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month. Key activities aimed at caring for and protecting the rights of union members and workers have taken place enthusiastically and practically.
At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month, the Provincial Federation of Labor honored and presented 93 Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to union members who are direct production workers in enterprises in the province who have had outstanding achievements in the movement "Good workers, creative workers in the period of 2023 - 2024". At the same time, organize the giving of 100 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances (total value of 70 million VND), award 50 scholarships (total value of 50 million VND) to children of union members and workers who are ethnic minorities and workers in difficult circumstances.
In addition, the Trade Union organization visited and presented gifts to 10 union members suffering from serious illnesses and occupational diseases; organized thematic activities and examined reproductive health for 270 female union members and employees.
Trade unions at all levels in the province also carry out many practical activities such as organizing union meals; dialogues at the workplace, negotiating the signing of collective labor agreements; organizing cultural - artistic, physical education - sports activities, free car seat replacement... attracting over 9,600 union members, workers, civil servants and employees to participate.
The whole Soc Trang province currently has more than 3,200 operating enterprises with more than 67,000 employees. Of which, 22 private enterprises have established grassroots party organizations, including 14 Party cells under the grassroots party committee, bringing the total number of party members in this area to 729 people, an increase of 95 Party members compared to 2024. In 2025 alone, 20 new Party members were admitted and 2 Party organizations were established in private enterprises.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ho Thi Cam Dao praised the positive results in Trade Union activities and Workers' Month 2025.
Ms. Dao suggested that Party committees, authorities, enterprises and trade unions continue to pay attention to and care for the material and spiritual lives of workers; create conditions for workers who are Party members to practice, develop and contribute; promote Party development among workers; promptly detect, foster and replicate advanced models, especially exemplary Party members in the production labor movement.

On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to the Soc Trang Provincial Civil Servants' Union and the Trade Union of Soc Trang Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2024.

The Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded emulation flags to 3 collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and trade union activities in 2024.

At the same time, 50 outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee.
