Yen Chau Footwear Joint Stock Company, located in Met Sai village, Yen Chau commune, officially went into operation from September 2025, currently has over 600 workers and apprentices specializing in producing and processing footwear.
Implementing the guidance of the Provincial Labor Federation, in early October 2025, the Company's Trade Union Establishment Mobilization Committee was established. The Mobilization Committee organized propaganda and dissemination of the rights and obligations of union members and the role of the Trade Union organization. Through this, 100% of official workers officially applied to join the Trade Union.
At the conference, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation awarded decisions to establish grassroots trade unions and admit 431 trade union members. The Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union was established with 5 members, Mr. Pham Quang Thang was elected as Chairman of the grassroots trade union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Soi Ngoc Cuong, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, congratulated the newly established grassroots Trade Union, and at the same time requested the Executive Committee to soon develop a work program, internal regulations, and operating regulations; collect opinions from workers to build and sign collective labor agreements.
After the ceremony, leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation exchanged and grasped the production situation, employment, and orders of enterprises in early 2026 and visited and encouraged workers at the factory.
