Sir, after perfecting the organization, what key tasks will the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor prioritize in implementing to put the Trade Union into effective operation?
- First of all, we build working regulations, clearly assign tasks, and maximize the strengths of each cadre to improve the quality of consulting and management. Along with that, it is necessary to develop a work program for the last 6 months of the year with specific, focused tasks, closely following the practical situation in each locality, each grassroots trade union (CDCS) to organize appropriate activities.
We also promote propaganda and mobilize employees to voluntarily join the Trade Union, especially in enterprises in industrial parks and clusters that are taking shape and developing.
Will there be any difficulties in arranging and perfecting the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union apparatus, especially at the grassroots level?
- The work of arranging the Gia Lai Provincial Trade Union apparatus has been basically smooth, thanks to the timely attention and direction of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province.
The good news is that the consensus spirit of the staff and union members is very high. Everyone is clearly aware that organizational arrangement is necessary to streamline the apparatus and operate more effectively. In particular, many full-time union officials have voluntarily retired early or quit their jobs according to policies, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and sharing for the common development of the Trade Union organization.
What solutions has the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor taken to ensure the rights and stabilize the ideology of cadres affected by organizational restructuring?
- We have proactively grasped the thoughts and aspirations of the union cadres, especially the former cadres of the old Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor, to promptly remove obstacles, help people stabilize their ideology, work with peace of mind and complete their tasks well. At the same time, direct the arrangement and assignment of cadres and civil servants to positions suitable to their expertise and strengths, ensuring the best working conditions and facilities at the new headquarters.
We also regularly update and fully implement new regimes and policies of the Party, State and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor so that cadres can feel secure in their long-term commitment.

How will the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor innovate its activities so that the Trade Union can better meet the needs of union members and workers?
- With the motto "If the method of operation is not innovated, the Trade Union organization will have difficulty accompanying employees at the present time", we determined to comprehensively innovate to streamline the apparatus and remain effective.
We will flexibly operate the operating model, suitable for the characteristics of the facility; promote the application of digital technology in union management, demand surveys, and organize periodic dialogues between businesses and employees. In particular, a "streamlined, light - effective" grassroots union model will be built in small, medium and micro enterprises.
We also continue to care for union members' lives through specific welfare programs such as preferential shopping, health care, scholarships for workers' children, along with emulation movements, culture, sports, to spread the spirit of solidarity and enrich the spiritual life of workers.
In the context of workers' lives still facing many difficulties due to economic fluctuations, unstable jobs and high living costs, we identify the key task of strongly promoting the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.
We focus on coordinating with businesses to organize dialogues, negotiations and sign collective labor agreements with more beneficial terms for employees. Closely coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, the Department of Health, Social Insurance, the Economic Zone Management Board... to strengthen inspection and supervision of the implementation of labor policies, social insurance, wages, occupational safety and hygiene, and ensure the rights of employees.
We promote models such as " Boarding House Trade Union Group" and "Mobilityful Legal Consulting Group" to help the Trade Union get close, listen and promptly support the practical issues of employees right at their place of residence and work.
