Propaganda and legal education work has always been identified as a key task of the Trade Union organization, aiming to bring the State's regulations closer to union members and workers. This is also an important channel to help workers gain more legal knowledge to protect their legitimate rights.
In Tay Ninh, in recent times, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many diverse activities to raise legal awareness for workers and laborers. In addition to issuing directive documents, many programs are directly organized right at enterprises, boarding houses or workers' markets.
Consulting activities, answering questions about regimes, policies, social insurance, occupational safety and hygiene, etc. attract a large number of workers to participate. In addition, online legal knowledge competitions, radio and television columns and articles published in newspapers and social networks also contribute to expanding information access channels.
Many workers believe that direct propaganda sessions are an opportunity for them to promptly update the new regulations, which are difficult to access if they only find out for themselves. Through that, workers not only grasp their rights and obligations but can also share them with their colleagues.
Grassroots trade unions also proactively innovate communication forms. Many businesses have built a "Union Cultural Space" with a legal bookcase, creating conditions for workers to look up at any time. In the first 8 months of 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor organized 45 legal dissemination sessions with nearly 14,000 workers attending; at the same time, directly consulted and supported more than 2,000 union members and workers.
Mr. Tran Le Duy - Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial Labor Federation commented: "The dissemination of laws has contributed to raising workers' awareness of compliance, and the number of violations in labor has significantly decreased. When understanding the law and complying with the law, workers can not only protect themselves but also work with the enterprise to build a safe and stable working environment".
